Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

It has to do with turning Reiter into an ORV area. While we as the 4x4 community may lose some trails, we will gain enforcement, and resources; IE. Dumpsters and outhouses.

It's gonna happen regardless of RTW's involvement. I would rather make a difference and show the LANDOWNERS (DNR) that we care about our play area and are willing to maintain it.

maybe so but the one at Walker Valley has survived for many years......and at least I got you thinkling about some improvements......very stimulating.....don't ya think?

No, ya tard :flipoff: Out houses are not a new idea, but it's pretty obvious it won't fly without the DNR handling maintenance.

why yes you are stimulating, so stimulating that you influenced meeting topics over three years ago, when we discussed the future needs at reiter, adn then went to the DNR and were told THEN, that those things could not, would not happen until it became an official area, so we went about the process of getting the zoning change in conjunction with the Snohomish County ORV committee, I was THERE for EVERY MEETING for three years except when I was VIOLENTLY ILL, and WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN, I havent had time to go lately, job schedule conflicts too much, but hope to go again soon

What about permits?

Who is going to supply the materials?

Who is going to keep it clean?

Who is going to do repair work on it--since out there they are going to get damaged no matter what they are made of...

Since you guys make it sound a pretty easy deal to do--whats your imput to this?

sounds like a great project for the RTW....can watch the trails and clean at the same time.....better than worthless doings that your planning for Cable Trail....

Nope RTW has disscussed it and its not going to happen till it becomes an ORV area...

It is a great project, and enough with the poop in the stream garbage, nobody wants to put **** in the salmon hatchery, Jesus enough already, the problem is MAINTENANCE.

But hey--if you know more about this stuff than me---put your $$$ where your mouth is and make it happen...
 
Why are you not seeing what's been said. Outhouses will not happen until Reiter becomes an official orv park.. DNR is who maintains the others.. Cause.. They are official parks. Therfor, they have funds to help pay for that.

Unless you as whore members who seem to think it's so simple and easy, want to approach DNR with your offerings to supply said outhouses and all cleaning of them, it's not going to happen.
 
Just wanted to throw an idea out there for the toilet thing.
The forest service does the concrete/steel pit outhouses which are pretty dang vandal resistant, but they need to be pumped.
The maintenance free option is a SOLAR pit toilet like they have at Camp Muir on Mt Rainier. These do compost themselves and do not need to be pumped.

Mabey put the toilet up a trail somewhere to limit the access, then build a capable little **** pumper truck to get to it.
I used to wheel with some Honey Bucket guys, they brought our own outhouse to camp and locked it.:awesomework:

You've mentioned this concept a couple times now and it makes no sense. Who poops in a stream? You? People you know? I've never seen it. But my hunch is that people that are willing to poop in a stream would do it even if there were 4-star facilities with bidets and blind attendants handing out mints and warm towels 50 feet away.

where do you think the run off goes?.....from rain ect.....I'm done debating this..my point was this....why not do something constructive other that wasting peoples time......I can see picking up all the trash on the trails that you see....like us and the shockers do but,try and fix things that don't need to be fixed is.......pointless.....go ahead and flame..wtf
