My brother has owned this truck since day one. It has been well taken care of and still runs like a champ. It has over 300,000, original motor, oil changed religiously. It has some rust spots and used looking interior but not abused. Body is straight. No mods have been done whatsoever. How much should he ask for it? I know he is going to cry when it leaves, it has been one hell of a good truck.

He should ask for however much he wants to get out of it. Either it will sell or it won't.

If it doesn't sell, he should re-evaluate how much it's worth to him and adjust the price accordingly. :D

1 Miilllllio, no wait, one biillllllllion dollars .....

The best way to do it---read and search and find out what people are selling them for in this region. The going price (market value) is really going to give a good idea on what its worth..

Yah I guess I will look around. I thought maybe some folks on here would have some input or examples of what they have seen these going for. It's going to be kind of tuff to find one in this kind of shape and one owner.

Thanks Crash for the non-smart a** reply

You'd be doing a stroke of buisness to get over $2000 out of it. With that mileage and the fact that its got the 20 r and a 4 speed its not all that desireable as is...

You didnt even post a pic, but you want a non smart ass answer? OK
How about $400 20r, 4 spd, who cares how many owners?

I bought an 81 longbed 4x4 w/canopy 3 years ago for $1000. It was laser straight and everything worked. The guy was an anal retentive mechanical engineer...It came w/3 note books full of entries of every fillup + mileage, every oil change--every 2500--w/notes on oil color and viscosity and every little thing he had ever touched on the rig since he bought it with 6000 miles on it. It had 200000+ when I got it. :D
