Jay, I will be up there on Sunday. I need to re-route my hydro asst line.

You should have fun driving it with no seats. :haha:

Nathen,

I left two wires total running aft of the firewall into the "cabin": one for the fuel pump and one for the electric seats :D

slid: That's a Grand Cherokee

Nice. I have just the wires for my lights going to the rear. I will see you on the trail on a different day then.

I might come out jay--been a long time since we have been at the same spot at the same time :redneck:

Sounds good Mike. It'd be reassuring to have you around when the rig falls apart in the middle of nowhere too :redneck:

notstock - Sorry, I can't put a face (or rig) with the screen name. It's still mostly stock :haha:

You have met him before--been a very long time though...

If i wasnt busy helping Jeremy Jones move (again) i would come out, been a while since ive seen ya.

Is this Dan with the Blue Toyota, works in printing and lives up North of Sultan? yeah, I remember now - he told me his screen name one day up on Index Wall trail. OK

I'll never forget the first time we met. It was on a run organized by Kurt of 2 Big Broncos - my first time running Manastash. We were working our way across the ridge trail from the campground towards tripod flats when he busted a front cv on a hill climb and almost rolled off the mountain. I bet you were hoping that would never come up again, huh Dan? :D

I knew you would figure it out:haha: It busted going down the hill climb, but yeah, that's pretty much it. Took some creative winching to get it out safely. That was the day I decided it was time to get rid of the IFS. I also remember them sitting around under umbrellas in lawn chairs sipping cocktails while I tried to fix the damned thing. Yelling suggestions while my 15 minute fix turned into an hour plus.:redneck:

I might be out there depending on my schedule, my shakedown run too! I plan to at least maybe go explore a little. Stop and laugh if you see me! :hi:

I Am headed there as well on Saturday then Walker on Sunday.

WOW! You sure do wheel A LOT!

Wish I could get out but I've dedicated my garage to some "fixes" on the buggy... new wheel studs, replace broken transfer case shifter cable, thread insert/new gasket on the 700R4 tranny, installation of Super Short SYE kit on NP231, waiting on new front axle diff cover from Crane, new heims for a few of the links...

Some could probably do this in 2 days but apparently I cannot...guess I'm just not that driven...oh well, I enjoy drinking beer and staring at parts that need to be installed or fixed :booo:

Guess I could grab the Jeep out of storage.......nah, I'm too lazy
