Im glad i helped ya Larry. Wish i coulda stayed for a night, But work and prepping to leave has left me with little time.

Props to you for getting it ready to rock, or roll:haha:. Got any pics I know lots of us are dieing to see what the new rig looks like.:redneck:

ya come by the shop tmrw if you want me to press in those joints for you at lunch or something... i stoped by on my way out but did not see you in there just a couple other guys ...

5:22 am ThursdaY morning.. Leaving the shop.. Its sitting on its own weight now.. Right on schedule.. Packing up tomorrow and heading to horsepower connection in Lacey to finish and fine tune with Brian Macey a very experienced hot rod builder and damn good tech.. Plan to be driving south Saturday morning.. See ya all down there..

By the time the green drops it will have a couple hundred miles on it..:awesomework:

That's not what I meant, so I'll clarify: "Would have been nice to have had a couple of hundred miles on it here, so that if you find issues, concerns, problems, or whatever... you still have full mechanical resources to re-engineer, re-build, re-design, repair, or whatever... before you put it on a trailer and tow it a thousand miles."

There will be no need for "re-engineering" on this truck. Very carefully planned out and built. No mechanical failures are foreseen.

good lord keep the negative crap in the other thread. k thanks.

Larry good luck, if your swinging through Lacey give Les a shout he's down there and if ya need a place to crash or do a few donuts or field laps he's got plenty of room out at his place.

I'm dieing over here

Thru your computer screen it all seems.........huh..I dunno. Trust me here. Larry IS going to finish the race. I am very impressed with what he has done, And the caliber of people he had helping him.

I regret the negative crap i said about a guy i never met

That was funny no matter who said it. Famous last words! I think I've said similar a time or two :haha:

I am pretty sure larry has learned what not to from the other rig. All you can do is take the bad and make it the good.

We all learn from mistakes, but that is a really big DUH statement. Most racers never expect to have a mechanical failure.

Good luck out there Larry. See you on the lakebed.

Racers--that has nothing to do with it--it happens in the sport in general--from wheelin, to rock racing, ect ect.

I have been there, you have been there... **** happens...
