Looking for advice concerning problem wheelers

Anyone remember the guy that burnt the truck out there, and then posted it on his myspace, the video was proof beyond a resonable doubt, I emailed it to KOMO, they talked with me, Crash, and Comet, actually interviewed Comet, and what became of it.....NOTHING, sadly, the law has more important things to do than enforce anything other than traffic violations.

I agree that Ron and Kim should go pay a visit, and if they are under 18/or live at home their parents should be notified. If the parents are the least bit civilized and respectful they will understand the situation.

A few cool tempered adults may be able to explain to them that their actions will reflect bad on the entire wheeling community. That they will be targets by most of the wheeling community and that they will no longer enjoy any time at Reiter. :awesomework:

I agree with Robin wholeheartedly, however I personally cannot participate as a 'cool tempered' adult, more power to you sir for offering to be one. :awesomework:
It is very easy to get frustrated and angry with the situation as a whole and if (from what I read of Glendon's post) the kids are a bit 'un-even' themselves it could get real ugly real fast.

Frustrating that you can get a ticket for no mudflaps, yet some punk can tear **** up with zero consequences.

I know, having done a little work at Reiter, that anything done is easily undone, no matter how it is set up.

Having a day's worth of work, whether it be trail maintanence or cleaning up after people, hurts.

I have also read about people getting caught and getting off with a warning. I'm not sure what to do about it or if anything is done, it will last. Even if these vandals change their ways, there will be some others to take their place.

I know these 2 as well and completly agree with what brejer has said. These 2 need to be educated on why these trail maintenences have been made, and how it effects reiter.why they are made and what the outcome will be if not done. They aren't affiliated w/ any club they don't go to meetings they don't get on the boards. They need the real deal brought in front of there face so they can learn and hopefully understand and maybe help out.some one should talk with them and this person should be A person with the knowledge of what is trying to be achieved at reiter some one who's can answer questions if they have any with the real answer not someone who has heard hearsay we don't want them to be misinformed. Some one who can be calm cool and collected if they are being candy asses.

from what i remember the dude had lots of bad stuff happen to him. he was fired from his job cause the owner didnt like that **** and his parents punished him somehow... there was an impact on his life.

I agree, but my point was that there was no impact from the law, in my business I have delt with the police on plenty of occasions, and 90% of the time it's a waste of time to contact them.

Post their names and photos, make up a poster like a wanted Posted and give to all auto parts stores not just the 4x4 shops and ask them to support our efforts to stop the damage these guys are suspected of causing, by refusing to do business with them. This could also include gas stations so they would have a harder time to even get gas for their rigs. :awesomework:

I have thought about the camera thing. But I don't have that kind of $$ to spend, or I would jump on it..

I realize this goes waaaay back in the thread, and I haven't read all of it, but there are hunters on here who likely have these----if you know approx when, set up a stakeout with said cameras, get the proof and turn 'em in...sounds easy enough, key is to not get caught--or get the camera vandalized in the process; see you have to be there to quickly extract the camera, as when it goes off(the flash) they may catch that and destroy it....
