Finally got my passport

Two more weeks!! :cheer: I've got my passport, I've got my shots, I got most of my bags, I even got my little airport maps printed along with detailed directions. I have to call my Dr so I can get his note for my prescription. I got extra lap top batteries and plug ins. I even started tanning so I don't fry too badly over there.

Anyone ever go to the tanning beds? You can pay over $100. for some of those lotions. :mad: I told her "I'm gonna be casper in a country of a bunch of little tan people, at least tell me how to get a little color" :haha:

When in asia, in an elevator, i'm always taller than everybody in there.. and i'm not that tall.

I have heard that in an elevator, they FEEL more then just tall, so don't be surprised!! :corn:

So how do I know what needs to be in my carry on stuff vs my packed luggage. Normally I would not carry on my toiletries but don't those now have to be in 3oz bottles and available for inspection?? Um... My medication? I would not normally carry that on.. But again, doesn't that have to be available?

For me, anything that can't be (somewhat easily) replaced goes in carry on. Meds, cameras, laptop, etc. Toiletries and clothes go underneath.

Yep, only carry on what you need and what is valuable. Try not to carry on any liquids. If you need to, then 3oz. This counts even for hand lotion.

Yeah I found a web site last night about it. I thought all liquids had to be inspected but as I read it, only if they are in carry on. So I can still put my normal lotions and such in my checked bags.:;
