Soooo... we will start with the nice to meet you...

Met several NWW folks out and about in the greater Manastash area this weekend... Off the top of my head, Annabannana, KarlVP, Phantom 309, and a few others that I cant remember... Always cool to put a face with a name...

Now a thank you... to EVERYONE who threw their beer cans / soda cans / Gatorade bottles / water bottles / orange juice bottles / etc... out on the side of the trail and the road. Thanks. I love to look at them....

Also thanks to EVERYONE who drove past all this **** on the trail and in the road and just kept driving. Good work.

On Saturday I brought home 14 beer cans, plus some orange juice bottles with Vodka in them, and other misc crap that was not mine (read further for those details).

On Sunday coming down Barber Springs I brought home 50+ cans and bottles, and that was just what I picked up... not counting what was in the trucks in the rest of my group.

Also a HUGE thanks to the group of old school "Jeepers" that we ran into out in the Shoestring on Saturday. I LOVED the fact that you called us all "Toyota ***gots" and "Asshole Coasties" when I GUARANTEE that I live closer to the Manastash area than your group. I also loved that you taught my 9 year old the word Mother****er... thanks. I also loved listining to you ***** and moan about how you could "kick our ass in the snow" but you passed us once, no bubbles no troubles (met one guy at this time that is on this board...no names, but ok... Phantom 309) and then we caught you winching up a baby hill that took you a LONG time (seriously... what takes that long to winch up a hill 20 yards long surrounded by trees??)... no problems... then we stopped for over an hour for lunch, then we caught you AGAIN and you didn't know where the trail was... took us 3 minutes to find it, we passed, and all of a sudden we are "Toyota ***gots" who should even be out there... THANKS! I didn't know that I was a ***got, but now that I know, I will be more careful. :awesomework:

Also to that same group... (Who all had Outlaw 4x4 and Insanity Fab stickers on their rigs), We really enjoyed looking at the trees you cut down on the way out, where you drove PAST the NO VEHICLES PAST THIS POINT signs to drive INTO the end of Shoestring Lake, picking up your beer cans (those were the 14 on Saturday), your broken little baby D30 or D35 axle shaft that you left on the trail, and the places where you winched off of trees without a strap... good work. Thanks for making us "Toyota ***gots" look good for cleaning up your **** on the way out.

Hope everyone had a great weekend !!! :awesomework:

And people wonder why the "greenies" can get places shut down so easily

Thanks Pooh for stepping up and being the responsible one even though they werent in any way shape or form willing to thank you for anything you do or be respectful to the area they were using:cool:

... I guess I should add that Phantom 309 was cool when we met, and he was not the guy in his group that was doing the name calling, etc.... and acting like he wanted to fight us...

HOWEVER...

... doesn't everyone remember the speech your parents give you when your a kid? If you hang out with people doing bad ****, it is automatically assumed that you are doing bad **** too... Sorry about pigeon holeing you like that, but thats the way the cookie crumbles...

I still have a sour taste in my mouth after saturday. The amount of disrespect and distruction on the trail was beyond imaginable.

When a tree is in your way. Dont cut the ****er down.

Lakes are not meant to be drivin in. Especially when you drive RIGHT BY the sign that says no access. (makes for a great picture by the way)

My trails are not your personal ****ing garbage dump. Jesus christ, if you had room to pack it in, pack the **** out.

Also while my rant is on, I really wish the forest service could do their job and right some ****ing tickets. **** oh dear. Manashtash got tore **** up in the CAMPING areas.....

I have no ambition to go wheeling in the Tillamuc/Yakima area if thats your "normal" stomping grounds.:looser:

On the flip side, karls and annabanna's group had some of the best teamwork i have ever seen. Way to keep that big of a group moving.:awesomework:

unnnn-believable but not really from what I have seen up there the last few years.

As much as I hate to say it--but I won't (I don't want it but we are to the point we need it).

And yes--I wish there was more inforcement. I mean come awn its like having a large concert with no crown control.

Another thing--this really bums me out.

For a long time I was the typical wheeler over there--go over just to run around the woods. A few years back I started heading over a day early(labor day weekend) and did a full on solo run and hitting close to 2/3 of the trail system. This gave me the chance to venture out of the rig and walk around and see things you typicly didn't see. One thing I did see alot of is around shoestring lake. By this time the area had been closed off to motorized vehicles but you could still see old tracks out around the lake. It was a very beautiful area and sickens me to see folks act in these manners.

I am hoping to do it again this year as I have not done so in the last couple years.

I didn't get many ... my camera was having issues and didn't want to turn on most of the weekend...

please share.

**** like that makes me sick. That kind of behavior is why I have no desire to go out anywhere on holiday weekends.

Every year its the same story.. someone ****ing it up for the rest.

Here is a pic...

Since we are a bunch of so labled "Toyota ***gots" we could not determine if this was a D30 or a D35 shaft that we picked up...

A D44? Son of a *****! It must have come from the Jeep with the Small Block Chevy to break that engineering masterpiece!
