Yep i know im still trying to get used to this rig compared to the ol' willys but i will figure it out soon enough visability is my biggest complaint so far

i have been running boggers for years when i lived on the east coast and did the mudbogs in VA and NC i ran them and i have 38.5x15x15 boggers under my toyota right now i only run IROK or BOGGER :awesomework:

yaaaaaaaa 38.5x 11 excluded cause you know kevin has a set laying around.... that.. and the 11 is almost a pizza cutter...... if you watch wheel hop and you have a decent set of axles (I.E. chromoly) the bogger isn't breaking anything
i am chromoly 30 spline up front but i am stock in the rear i am not saying they will never break the stock axle... they havnt yet when they do ill chromoly the rear on the east cost i ran 39 boggers on a gm 12bolt under a built K5 with stock axle shaft detroit locker and yukon 4.88 and never broke an axle

sam i know your worried about the air and the rim but wheeling boggers aired down to 5 compaired to the 10 psi you have in there now really is a world of difference they grab everything.... most of us (HI-CENTER'D) that have boggers we run 10 psi on the road and 5 psi on the trail it makes a big difference

i am not trying to talk you into keeping them honeslty it doesn't make a difference to me one way of the other ..... i am just sharing what i know!!

Elyse called this morning. She will meet us at the Lake Cavanaugh Road gate between 11 and 12. She has some repairs to do to the dump trailer before we use it that day.

You will learn if you ever play in the rocks they are no good at all they rip and tear apart really well though, and i myself love a good rock pile and crawlin along nice and slow i dont like mud and have found they suck in the mud around here too they pack just as bad as my BFG mud terrains did:haha:

I will probably hot knife the shiznazzle out of them cause i cant afford new wheels and tires at this point so at least they might have a better chance of grabbing a bite on the rock

yup,yup...had a slight issue with the dump trailer on the way out though...had the bobcat on it, and stopped to double check the load at the pavement, found the lower bolt for the adjustable hitch on the trailer had sheared!!! Only part of the remains of the bolt was keeping the tongue from flipping ...ended up using a hitch pin and duct tape :redneck: to get it back to the DNR office!!!:awesomework:

The breakage above plus some of the boards on the rim of the dump trailer got trashed and need replaced.

A close inspection of what was left of the bolt did reveal it likely has been cracked for some time, just finally popped the end off at some point on the way down & outta there after the weekend...not realy anyone's fault on that. Elyse said the bolts were the originals, who (OE manufacturer) in their right mind would install grade 5's on the tongue mount!:yikes:
The top rim boards on the other hand...:eeek: Elyse did say it wasn't a huge deal, but also said they were just put on there--and at least letting her know what had happened would go a long way in the respect/trust dept....:awesomework:

So what's the status of the work we started? Do we need to do more before the wet season hits? I have things going on the next couple weeks or so but could help more after that if needed......Right now my rig has all gears in both direstions but I think it's on borrowed time, maybe we could get one more day of work out of it.:cheer:
