I usually just drive down to the factory down in Portland and get my stuffs there, well they have a new storefront now, but it is just down the road from the old one..

My friend is one of the Production Managers at the factory... these sales rock!! I have ended up walking away with more boots/shoes than I know what to do with... haha
 
watch which danner boots you buy, if they are the ones from over seas then they might be worth 50% off the full price.

the danner boots made in usa will say made in usa on them.
 
They have a filter right in their product selector that lets you only display boots made in the us.
 
i will be getting me a pair made in the us.can't miss this deal.

will be replacing my danners that where made over seas and have had nothing but trouble with them,and i wasn't the only person that i know that has made that mistake and got the imported ones.

Even for imported boots, I've always had great luck dealing with their customer service department. A few years ago, I had a pair of Radical GTX steel-toes for one of my many pairs of work boots. The steel toe makes the toe box stiff so it won't flex, and the steel last is pretty stiff through the midfoot, so all of the bending of the sole happens at one "hinge" line across the ball of my foot. They were really comfortable, but after a few months of hard use, both rubber outsoles cracked all the way from side to side.

I emailed customer service, explaining the problem. Of course, by the time I got around to that, they were out of warranty since I had owned them for a year before I ever wore them outside. Anyway, I got a nice letter back asking if I would send the boots back to them for repair (even though they were over a year old). Less than a week later, I got a brand new pair in the mail. :cool:
 
i got my at whistle work wear and they replaced my first pair after only two months from seams coming apart. and after that they wore to quickly.

i will buying a set of danners just not the imports.

Bought a pair of (import) Danner Quarry Loggers last year and really like them outside. However, the extra heal hight was just a little annoying inside walking around the concrete shop, and being on my feet all day. So I just picked up a pair of USA made Rain Forests for work; so stoked!!

I also had a problem with the Gore-Tex in my first set sagging a bit in one toe; one call to Danner and I had a new set within a week. Good folks, those. :awesomework:
 
just ordered a set of there super rain forest, had to do order over phone because there computer system is getting flooded with orders and wouldn't go through. but they took care of me

So I'm trying to order a pair of boots that are $170, and with the coupon code entered it says the boots are now $169...WTF? That's not 50%. And above it it says the boots are $340. So why is it not showing the original price on the main page? :eeek:

F&F Discount = $171
Total = $169

You'd think. Perhaps they've already factored the discount into the unit price.

When you type in the promotional code "GOODFRIEND" you have to click on the "apply" button before you go to checkout.
Getting though that web site right now is painful at best.:mad:

Ya, I did that and it still had the price of $169, I'm actually on the phone with my momma, she was able to get through and get the discount to work. but I have not been able to, I even check cabelas to make sure of the prices. $169 on cabelas. :mad:

EDIT: Want me to have her order your boots too!? :redneck:

Wow, well after 7 hours of trying to order boots, I still haven't ordered boots, i had all my boots ready to go and then the website went into "over capacity" mode... So now, I can't order my boots. I assume that sice Danner wasn't prepared (as they should have been) for an overload of their webiste that they expected to lose business over a faulty website. :booo:
 
I've been trying to order since about 1:00. What a joke!......Web page is completely down now.:rolleyes:
 
Earlier today when the site was up I tried forever to checkout but it just kept going around in circles leading back to the beginning of checkout. Never did get to a screen where they ask for payment info.:rolleyes:
 
Bummer:booo: Im glad I got on there early. I breezed right through it at 7:00 this morning.
 
FWIW, somebody on Pirate mentioned that they were going to honor the code tomorrow since the website got slammed. I'm not sure if that was only for phone orders? Might be worth a try anyway.
