Not really. I don't recommend people try it but I never had an issue back in the day. Sadly I was told a few times that I drove better high than not. :haha:


EDIT: One thing to realize is being high isn't like being drunk. Having a hit or three and driving is like having a couple beers unless it is some wicked potent stuff. Yea you have a slight buzz but your judgement isn't completely impaired as if you just drank a half rack.

Yup impaired either way ya look at it. I used to drive drunk or high it didn't matter to me then. But there was no way you'd have gotten me to drive while taking dr. prescribed Vicodin or percoset. That crap fawked me up to the point I refused to drive and it was legal. :eeek:

I hate pills though, never been a fan whether it was for a cold or for pain prescribed by the Dr.. I had vicoden recently for a surgery, my body did not like it one bit. Drove to the liquor store and picked up a bottle of crown.. ahhhhh much better. Still have the rest of the vicoden just sitting in the cabinet. No idea what to do with it.

I think you two are missing the fact that it is all in the officers hands. You can be driving under the influence and have not drank at all. Had a few friends get popped for DUI while driving under prescription pain killers.

The law... The Uniform Code Of Military Justice.. Respect for my current lifestyle and job. Bunch of things. I'm active Military right now and i know everyone gets away with it all the time but its just not worth the risk to me.
