Yes in a perfect world if you take simply this one thing out and put it into rainbow and carebear land I would. However the picture is much larger and has a lot more concequences.

Let me explain.

I drink alcohol (very rarely), however I hate alcohol culture and what some people do while intoxicated.

I loath pot and drug culture. If it had been legal for 100 years and durty hippy pot heads didn't exist. I'd probably toke in someone's garage or out in the woods wheelin on very rare ocasions. As a lot of people say it's really not that bad of a drug. Probably less than sugar, caffeine etc.

The problem is the picture IS a lot bigger than just the little microcosm of pot.

When the entire picture is examined I believe people should try to walk the tight and narrow. IT allows our society to function. The farther we stray from it the worse things get.

Damn you really don't know ****. Everything you think you know is hearsay at best. So you have friends that are **** ups in life and they are into drugs guess what, if it wasn't for drugs they'd STILL be **** ups they just have a chemical excuse for it.




One of my neighbors is probably in the worst pain I can imagine short of being on fire 24/7. The poor guy has MS and 3 different types of severe arthritis along with diabetes etc (not that diabetes is painful but its just another thing he has wrong)

He grew up with a drunk dad and pothead/drunk mom so he absolutely abhors both. BUT when his DR kept upping the dosage of morphine (opium/heroin basically) to the point he couldn't stand being sick all the time so he quit it cold turkey, detoxed and now smokes a doobie or two everyday and is in far less pain. This is probably the most anti drug person I know due to him having to grow up in that environment and in the end he gave into what his DR kept telling him so know he has a much higher quality of living.

Hell I have another neighbor that is a retired truck driver/air force pilot that flew defoliant plane in Vietnam his body is literally falling the fawk apart from agent orange exposure. He smokes pot every day and loves his kokanee beer when the driving is done for the day. Fuggit he's a pothead but he earned the "right" to smoke in my opinion. The DR's have had him on some serious pills that lay him up in bed for days at a time. He'll try a new one for awhile but always ends up sparking up to make the pain go away.

In our modern world we have opened pandora's box to all sorts of things. We have complicated all kinds of things up. A long time ago we didn't have agent orange, and frankly your other buddy wouldn't probably have lived to the age he is now.

But using examples of medical use for people who are dying and discounting the millions of kids getting hooked on drugs is shamefull.


Our society can't close the box we've opened so we now have to deal with it. What IS going to happen is people will continue to push and push untill everything is legal, or ****ed up beyond belief.

Grandpa would say heck yes I'd light up. My grandparents knew all about marijuana and it's medical uses. Not everyone was so closed minded. :; My grandparents were truly old school, I grew up knowing right from wrong and knowing there are consequences for my actions. You complain about all these things that have happened to society as a whole and each and every one of them wouldn't be an issue if people were like my grandparents. Seriously, everyone is so utterly ****ED because they have been told since birth that they are special and it's not their fault that they screwed up. No one has the balls to take responsibility for their own stupidity and wrong doing. THAT is the root of all issues not some brainless tardbag smoking a joint. I agree fully 100 percent with personal responsibility. It's a glue, and works great when everyone is on the same page. But once that tide has changed it's very hard to be an island, eventually a person gets warn down.

It's like trying to be a buisnessman on the up and up. When ALL of your competition cheets on taxes and sells drugs on the side. How can you compete? The answer is you can't.

The tea is great for an upset stomach, I dont believe its sold on the supermarket shelves anymore though... it used to be. I have bought the leaves and chewed many of them (in Bolivia), the flavor is nasty but its what the naitives use to curve they're appetite and work long/hard days. You do not get bugged out or paranoid like Patty on cocoa/tea/leaves.
