Why do we need drones flying over the US?

So, you think it's ok for the government to fly over and take pictures of your property? Do you let them come into your house without a warrant? The whole debate in Congress about the legality of drones is all based upon privacy.
 
Drones don't talk. No one to disagree and inform the rest of us, when they are really up to no good. It has it's advantages, but I think the disadvantages far outweigh any benefits we might receive. Just think of the money those pigs will make off this program. We are 14 trillion in debt, can't reign in our defecit, and we have money for 30,000 drones and the support network that goes with them? :corn:

No I don't. But all a drone can see is what you let them .. Any person can drive by your house and see what a drone could.

I laugh because privacy is a joke in the US... NOTHING we do is private. The government already looks for "key" words and terms on you phone. The only things that are truly private are one on one conversations... And even that is iffy.
 
The counties have been using manned aircraft for years to find buildings created without building permits.
 
I don't see the problem with drones flying around. They don't have any offensive mechanisms, and they've never been involved in a sting operation. They can't do their main duty all day long (nor can any of us), so they might as well get out and see the country-side. I've never really felt threatened by them.

I don't think it's the fact, it's the principal. I could afford to let someone steal a dollar from me, or steal my trash can i leave outside on the street, but i'd rather punch them in the face. This "deal" is just another bubble rising in the uncomfortably warm water.

Some of you sound like you have been oppressed for so long, you have come to accept it. Just because things are a certain way, and have been moving in a certain direction, does not mean they have to or will be like that forever.

What's really ****ed up, is being raised in what i would consider a brainwash machine, then not waking up to reality until you've already been ****ed. Then everyone tells you, you should have known better, and there's nothing you can do about it. No one is born with devine wisdom, it is aquired, and not through want or need, but by necessity and time.

For disclosure, i'm not wise, but i'm not brainwashed either, i'm just caught in the middle of this ****, and it stinks.
