Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

Getting a 6lb Brisket ready to go on the smoker in the morning.

Coating it in regular French's Mustard and some rub. Once it is coated and rubbed it will sit in the fridge overnight for everything to get acquainted. The mustard serves two purposes-

1. It adds a kick ass flavor.
2. It provides a great pasty base for the rub to stick to.

Fat trimmed to about 1/4" and coated in mustard.

All rubbed down and ready to be tucked in the fridge for the night.

Can't wait to get up in the morning and get the smoker steady at 225 and 7.5 hours later this baby is going to make some good sandwiches. More pics to follow.

Got it out of the smoker and sliced up. Turned out juicy and tender. Eating sandwiches and baked beans now.

I'm a little short on the pictures cause I wasn't thinking about it. But here one of the end result. I did chicken quarters on the traeger. Injected with BBQ sauce, sprinkled some johny's and stuff on the top and then got a nice glaze going. And some homemade potato salad. View attachment 52320
