Tony from Genright has been posting a bunch on their FB page. Was texting with him earlier today, he said the Busywild was a blast and he was glad he had 42's. :haha: They headed to Eastern WA today, although not exactly sure where.

Good thing they ran it after the logging and in the dry season when its an ultimate adventure.

The last time a magazine came thru and ran it, they just badmouthed it and called it a crappy mudfest that required no technical skill. Im curious to see what kinda press it gets this time.

It looks like the Canadians enjoyed the trail. Just like they got back home.

I know they're heading up to Canada too. Rick always takes a long route to get anywhere. If it's a 100 mile run to get somewhere directly, you can count on 350 mile, 8 hour road day.

Saw them on I90 today while heading back from Idaho. They were almost to the Tokyo scales. Also looked like a build Luv was having some issues on the side of the road. Cool seeing those built rigs being driven and not on a trailer.

I've been lucky enough to be on the UA 4 times. It's fun but it's also a ton of work. Driving for all day then getting to your campsite after midnight. Then you set up your camp and work on your rig so you can make the 8:00 driver's meeting and go wheelin. I found that most guys had more trouble on the road days. Is your rig set up to drive 300 miles in a day at 65+ MPH? Do you have 200 mile fuel range? You'd be surprised how many don't.

The guys on this trip are very lucky with our weather. Try all of this when it's nearly 100* and 95% humidity! On one trip down south, the local trail guide warned us about going off trail to...a....use the facilities. He said..."remember, if it's green it's poisonous".

Some of the UA stories you would not believe. What you see in the mags pales to what really happens on these trips. Good memories for sure!!:redneck:

Was it the yellow one? If so, its a sweet older toyota. One of the coolest rigs there IMO, other then the wrinkled Sami.:D
