Directions?

Thinking of loading my rc crap into the wheeler and heading to funny & moon rocks this weekend. I've always taken milk Creek Road but with the washouts in the last few years I'm just not thinking my ifs runner on 33's is the hot ticket. :redneck:

I remember porter running up another route with his truck and trailer but have zero clue what the route is. Help! :D

Rock creek road and up bald mountain--I wish I could remember the road numbers....

Rock Creek Road is also closed due to washouts. Try the Bald Mtn Road (FS1701). 14 plus miles and the 53o spur goes straight ahead as the FS1701 swings right. Take the 530 spur and the Rocks are 15 to 20 minutes away.

If you plan on camping you'll need a US Forest pass. don't know if you need it too wheel tho it's been a few yrs for me also. :mad:

If you have current tabs you don't need a FS pass unless you camp at a improved camp ground or park at a improved trail head. You can buy a day pass at many of the improved grounds so you don't need a FS pass. Look on the USFS web site for a list of improved camp grounds/ trail heads.
