Craziest **** You Found in The Woods?

Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

I was hiking with my dogs out in the woods in Issaquah, they know the trail well enough and they stick together as pack animals usually do, so I was just following them through the woods. They decided to take a path looking off shoot, it kind of looked like it could have been a part of the trail at one time, but hadn't been used for a while and over grown, or it could have been new and not traveled often, at the time I didn't know. Anyway we walked for a wile and eventually I saw a roof peak through the trees. As we walked closer, I could see that it was a plywood shed, like the kind in the home depot parking lot, on a trailer, a super nice double axle trailer. I think it was a meth lab. As soon as I saw it I called the dogs back and we left the area.

I grow up in Hippie central so I have found and seen a lot of things in the woods which most on here would consider crazy... but the summer roving rainbow camps were interesting. Out siding I stumbled past a tank then road the dirt bike straight through the pilot survival training camp they setup out in the middle of no where... they didn't like that much :haha:

I found a guy in dreds driving a beat as **** cherokee in the woods once..:redneck:

I think I've seen that same guy.

Weird dude.

I think every time I saw him there was less cherokee as well.

Wonder what happened to him.... probably got into hippy bike cycles or something :fawkdancesmiley:

I think I might have seen this elusive dude a few times also. I think he was said to be related to Mick Dodge. :D

I found an older couple, 60's or so, stuck in the creek below tripod flats. A 2wd Toyota pickup, they asked can't we get to 410 this way. They were stuck in the middle of the creek, so hard I could not winch them back out. Had to cross the creek and winch them forward then get them back over. :eeek:

Oh Snap.......

um... it was before that.... ya.................................... (ducks head)

About ten years ago we did a mock search up at elbe hills go pierce county search and rescue. Some shady looking characters came out of the woods on foot needing a jump and asked if I could help. I brought them back to the camp ground and the pierce county sheriff went ahead and gave thematic place to stay for cooking meth. Be careful who you ask for help!

Saw two things on a trail in canada..

1) Meth lab materials
2) F-350 missing tires but otherwise somewhat intact!

On another excursion scouting, saw an old skid-steer with some oil can from the 50s.

At Elbe hills once, at the bowl at the top, two late teen boys, with colored mohawks, apparently mid coitus, in a front wheel drive chevy car with a hole in the trans oil pan. They pulled up there pants, said they were "peeing"? and asked if we would push there car to the highway. We did, with my front bumper, hilarity ensused, then they used my cell to call parents who "don't understand true love" to send a tow truck.

A wildman known as "POOHBEAR" deep in the woods of Eburg.:awesomework::awesomework::awesomework:
