Forum hacked/ spammed.

There are a half dozen new threads, or new posts in existing threads, written in a foreign language which look like hack attack / spam

hard part is there ip addresses are all over the place so I can't simply easily lock by ip addy.

Maybe add some sort of security check, like re-captcha or something, to maybe help reduce the creation of the profiles allowing them to post...

If that is already in effect, then maybe something with that needs to be stepped up...

Although it is no guarantee, it 'might' reduce to bot spamming... Maybe...

You just can't make this **** up. The funniest part is they keep spamming with whatever language they speak and there aren't a pile of hot links in it to snag morons. I guess even the spammer are lazy these days. :haha:

it is hilarious for sure..

the language is Vietnamese, and even that is all messed up...

Showed a Vietnamese friend and they even said it was a mixed with gibberish...

so they can't even get their spam right... I guess it is true they are lazy...

OK... time to ban whole countries... hahaha

So all the spammers seem to have Ip's originating from vietnam. I have started blocking them but when I get back from vacation I will have to get more aggressive and widen the spam on the ip's that are blocked.
