Thursday afternoon went south in a hurry. Contractor running an excavator across the street lost track of where the power service on his side was, shorted out on the pole that my service comes off of. Those used to be 8 foot tall hedges, and that used to be a pretty decent truck.

Yup, the old party wagon is no more. Now I gotta fight with the insurance company to get enough money to get another old pickup, along with a new window for the house and a whole front yard pretty much since there's so much glass and melted **** in the lawn. Lost the new bed I hadn't installed yet and the canopy in the fire too. Other than the driver's fender on the truck this is how the front yard looked 2 weeks ago

Would be interested as well. What year truck ? Does it have cruise control ?

'90. What was left of the cruise control is melted to the top of the LF tire.

Drivetrain is all good still, not even full of water. I don't have the space or equipment here to do a body swap on it or I'd keep it. I have given some thought to scrapping the body and a few feet of frame then caging what's left for a wheeler though.

Toy 8". Just the housing broke, after driving on it broke for two days surprisingly the internals are fine.
