Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

What pump is it? my understanding was they could not handle the rpm's that the engines turn.

Thats a regular gear pump with Scott's support bearing.
Theoretically gear pumps do not like to be spun fast, but given how long your average rockcrawler will be driven in its life, they have been proven to hold up quite well.

What will happen in the long run is that the gears will wear and the pump will internally bypass (problematic at low rpm).

@Timjus is using one and I beleive he got something like 5 years out of his before changing it.

The support bearing is called an overhung load adapter, common part.

not sure who scott is, but I assume that's a specific one made or modified to mount the automotive ribbed pulley ?

I have mine on the shelf yet to be installed, good to hear good things about this pump.

Chugging right along ..

Chris whipped me up a custom console and has been working on the panels. He loves inset panels btw...
