Death Wobble on New SAS rig

After checking all the fasteners and installing a 6* shim, my caster is good, and no more death wobble. I also installed my old IFS Rancho steering stabilizer. Thanks for the assistance guys.

Also, if you bought the higher end steel shim's, I would weld them to you're axle spring pad, nobody like's a shim breaking and then having the front end get a little loose when you're driving down the highway

And to add to this---yes steel is MUCH better but also remember rotating a toyota housing on the leafs on its own can be scarey.This is due to the fact of the passeger inner u-bolt and how it sits against the flat portion of the housing--so when you rotate the housing compared to the spring it puts that u-bolt in a goofy bind up... If you used the alum. shims I really suggest getting steel ones and doing as darius mentiond and weld them on to aid in keeping the whole works from wanting to loosen up....

Hmm, never thought about that with the leafs and flip kit before, although Im sure I would've noticed it when I tried putting everything back together, haha. Good point Crash, thanks.

Well guys I have the steel shims that are bolted to the bottom of the spring pack under the 1.5" rear AAL. I definitely thought to avoid aluminum (unlike my buddy with the 4Runner that has some aluminum 2" rear blocks under his rear chevy springs). Thanks for the info guys.
