Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

I am home, I smell like a campfire and stuffed full of food still. It was great to see people I haven't seen for a while.
Thanks Folks for a good day

i wish i could have made it up there to meet some of you guys/ gals. maybe next time.

Sorry we had to leave early, Dad is in town today. Didn't get to hang out with you guys as mush as I wanted too, but was dead tired after our BYS experience. We all had a great time and Jake won't stop talking about 'the red buggy on fire.'

I'm soo sorry about that. I thought you had made it out of the trail when I was broken.

Really dude, I apologise. I always follow the nobody left behind policy. I feel like **** about that.

I got a phone call when ppl were up there and sent a rig with on board air up there, but i guess you guys got it handled before he made it to the top. Glad you all got out, some where luckier than others

Is there any pictures of this glorious event? For some of us who were not fortunate enough to make it? (Got stuck re-roofin the house and gettin sun-burnt :kissmyass: SEE)

Lori was a trooper, driving with busted steering and me running cable and spotting, then she ran cable and straps while I drove. Jake didn't care, he was in the black truck in the woods. When you came up to us, we were just chillin', letting the PS fluid cool down and eating hukleberries. Everybody had a great time, just too tired to stay up and tell stories. We are all looking forward to another trip or get together.

Karl, no hard feeling from any of us, we still had a good time

I'll post up a damage report in the garage section when I get the K5 apart. It's hammered and backing it into the shop with the hubs unlocked it bound up and went BANG really loud.:eeek:

Heh, yah that would be some of us Night Whel..err Patroling - Clint lost a bead on BYS around midnight, after ramming into Dave's XJ and breaking his window...

So yah, we got the tire back up by umm, lighting it on fi.. err letting gas 'fill the tire up' and then tried my little Costco Air compressor, which worked quite well. I think we made it back to camp around 2am?

I got up there after some were already passed out or gone. :booo: I sure did expect a heck of alot more obnoxiousness but it was actually pretty quiet.

well we didint get to wheel much but we had a great time. becca is sorry she didnt make the night patrol but neither of us ever get much of a chance to cut loose a little so she deserved a good night of drinking.

just so everyone knows my suburban decided to spit out a few pinon teeth on the way there. just past monroe across from the reptile zoo.

side note: the BBQ bus that parks there ROCKS..we had the sampler plate for lunch and it was the bestest texas BBQ:cheer: i highly reccomend them. real nice couple from Texas let us hang out till help showed up.

thanks to Tom Tom for stopping to make sure we were ok and had help coming.

now for the real thanks: to my buddy dave (gravy on the board) he not only dropped what he was doing to come help me but he brought two vehicles and his wife. we unhooked my trailer and the tow truck took it home, we hooked daves suburban to my trailer loaded all our stuff into thier suburban and he let us use his truck to continue on our trip. now thats a friend.

thanks again Crista and Maryanne for the mochas.

oops I mean DAVE! ;-) sorry I'm bad with names. Chris was your buddy, right?

anywho, it was fun riding with you guys that night as well as Sunday on doom--the Cherokee did really well even though it was open

Chris road shotgun and that tire fire was cool. No real damage XJ made it to renton with just a little vibe but they do that right.

anyone got anymore pics and any vids from this weekend? i know i saw a video camera in some ones hand...?
