    project tacoma prerunner...

If this is a build thread, it sure doesn't have to many pictures. Get some more up, I'm interested to see what you've done so far.

    Ken mercer on Aftershock

I hadn't heard anything about this until I got back and was blown away by the story when I read it. Bunk I know there was a big thread on pirate saying thanks but I thought I'd post over here to let you know in a much smaller more personal thread. Thanks again for doing this! Its actions like...

    The Punisher Chassis Begins!

Looks like bend tech is working well for you. How do you like it so far?

    ZJ Cage and fender flairs

I agree go with 4. Its the strongest and your rear passengers won't notice a problem with leg room that much. Great job so far though, I can tell your at least trying to think this out unlike some people who get there hands on a bender.

Adding 10" of pleasure or pain

That thing sure hangs down. I'm pretty sure you made a skid plate and what not. That sucks that it hangs down so far though. Do you remember how many gallons those tanks have?

Got any pictures of it mounted in there? I'm throwing in my 98 vortec 4.3,th350, dual 2.28 toyota case in mine right now along with a trail gear 4-link kit. I was going to run a RCI 17 gallon fuel cell in the bed since it was only 7" wide but I might change my mind depending on how yours fits...

What fuel tank did you use to put under the bed. Aren't some guys using a ford tank of some kind.

Its amazing how much crap we take with us wheeling and how fast that little bit of cab room gets filled up the moment we go wheeling.

Ahh I found your build on here. I'm snowdemon from the pirate board. Good looking rig man. Like I already said I love this thing. How do you like having a bit more interior room? I don't think I could handle a standard cab.

    1980 Toyota Build

Yeah or around 4.5". With the lift shackles and the new crossmember and 3" springs I'd say around 4+" of lift. The truck rides and drives really nice. We had a bent frame to work with but it after some careful measuring it came out square and drives straight down the road.

    1980 Toyota Build

Looks good man. Thanks for posting those pictures of our wheeling trip. I can't wait until the snow is flying. We need to get your front end locked up so you can actually keep up. LOL I know I know longfields need to go in first. I have to say this truck really does wheel really good for...

Welcome aboard man. Glad you found the site and I can't wait to see how the truck turns out. BTW I'm glad you added those pictures. I'm getting antsy to get out there and do some more wheeling this winter with you. Maybe this year you'll be able to keep up. LOL

    Questions about Naches

Thanks I'll look into this. I have a FJ frame and vin that I'm going to try and use to register my buggy. I if it comes down to it I'll chop off the vin and weld it to my chassis. I know its not totally legal but I plan on having FJ skins one of these days when I get motivation.

    Questions about Naches

How did you acquire ORV tabs for your buggy. I haven't really looked into this much but I know Trevor just said he puts a plate on his rigs and hasn't had really any problems. Like I said earlier I just usually just put my 76 FJ40 plate on the back and hope for the best. I usually run on...
