I want to get everybody's thaughts on this compant and there systems.

We are seriousally thinking about getting one of there 3" Ultimate" Lift System for Jeep JK Wrangler 2-Door Model.

here is what is listed for the system we want.

A 3in bolt-on lift system that clears 35"* tall tires? This is it! Destined to become the new standard in 3in systems, the new Jeep JK Wrangler Ultimate 3in system from Full-Traction is the most feature-laden kit available for both the 2-Dr and 4-Dr Unlimited models. Combining all the necessary components together in a 100% bolt-on package, this system will allow use of 35in tires with ease, superior flexibility, and complete wheelbase and pinion angle adjustability. Rebuildable, fully adjustable lower control arms are manufactured from durable 2in x .250in wall DOM steel tubing and use the same 4130 Cromoly Heim Joints used in our famous Long Arm systems. You can not find a stronger, better performing arm at any price. Quality, laser crafted components allow proper fitment to make this system the one to choose for JK-ers demanding the best.

System comes complete with 8 adjustable upper & lower control arms for both front and rear, heavy duty adjustable front & rear track bars, new generation front sway bar disconnects, rear links, bump stops, off-set brakeline relocation brackets, and ride frequency tuned coil springs for a comfortable ride. Available with either Full-Traction Twin Tube Hydraulic shocks or M-Force Performance Gas Monotube shocks.

* Using recommended tire widths & wheel backspacing

Full Traction is a good company. There are some who hate them.
They have had some issues with customer service. There was a article in the 4WD & SUV mag one or two months ago about the best suspension for a JK.
Look online I think you can read it now.

I run the tri-link long arm kit with tera 4" springs and I like the kit alot, but was a pain to install, I got a couple friends that run the short arm kits and they have no complaints

Full traction long arm kits are worth every penny.

Not sure about the SA kits, but any show from thier LA kits seems they will do fine.

Thats a good lift kit. I had a friend that had the 6" on his TJ. Very nice lift kit and it performed very well. If I ever built a TJ it would have a Full traction lift. :awesomework:

I wouldn't waste the money on a Stock Kit, Spend a little more and get a long arm kit from Skyjacker or Rubicon Express, then you will never have to consider upgrades to the suspension.

Jay,
like most, you guys are missing the point that the JK is differant the TJ. The JK is stock with medium arms so a LA kit is not needed till after 4" lift unlike a TJ. Also this kit is not putting back stock type stuff.

Yes, but if you buy a stock arm replacement kit, and want to go LA's later, you have wasted money.

Whereas you could buy a LA kit now, and put different springs in to get whatever height you want. For instance, do a 3 inch LA lift, and if you want to go 6 inches later, just swap out the coils.

Right now there is no 3" LA kit, its 4" or taller, and a 3" kit will get us 35's just fine which is also a great thing about JK's.

Whatever floats your boat. With the long arms you can put whatever spring you want in there. You don't have to get the 4 inch springs.

And I don't know where you are getting this idea about the JK's. I have 3 inches of suspesion lift and My TJ clears 35 just fine.

The kit you showed only has hiems at one end of the control arms, in the long arm kit it has them on both, at least the skyjacker rock ready kit does, Like Karl is saying, we know the progression that comes with the sport, eventually every Jeep owner (that wheels a lot) goes to a long arm kit, it would just seem to be wise to skip the first step and jump to the second, besides, if you are going to spend the money, don't waste it on anything under 4" of lift.

Okay Kat,
Instead of arguing with us TJ owners how about going to a JK board and talk with them.

Ive got the long arm kit. It only has hiems on one end, bushings on the other which I'll be replacing with johnnys when they wear out

I started shortarms and just went for a longarm kit and now wished I would have done that first, it would have saved me alot of money. Also try to triangulated so you can ditch the track bar.
