• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

deflowered

they measure 45.5 eye to eye with no weight on them. I had two sets of springs, one pair from a 67-72, and these for a 73 up. I did alot of measuring the other day!:eeek:
Its going to ride firm, not flex much. I didnt want it to flex much up front, I just didnt want to buy long shocks, deal with tierod overlap, front slipyoke falling out, bumpsteer, etc. So many problems pop up when big travel is the goal.

With it being locked up at both ends it will go eveywhere I need it to go and it will still handle GREAT when my girl is pimping it around town! It will mostly see snow, sand, mud, moderate trails. Its a purpose built machine, being EXTREME is not its purpose:cheer: plus the rear will flex pretty good with no real downfall other than the cab following the front axle.

umm.. please dont let me count on this little thing to hold Pull duty on new years:redneck: ..

Whats up with Stomper?:corn:

nice build tho..:awesomework:

Its just sitting, waiting for a beating.

nice..

went out there for the thanksgiving playday..its getting wet out there..

would of been cool to see you and Brad with the white 4:20 yota do a drag or something..

ok..back on topic...:haha:

Got the shock mounts removed in preperation for some shock hoops.

Put my new hysteer kit from Trail Gear (odie) first.
Threw a plate on the frame for an IFS steering box next. Sleved the frame through both sides with some 3/4 DOM. Used stock box toyota bolts. I mounted the box a couple inches further foward than it needed to be in case I ever go to a longer spring in the future (no crisscross TRE).:D

finnished steering box, mounted.
Another of the Ubolt flip plates and Ubolts and Hysteer. The plates I used came from the wrecking yard off of f150-f350s of many years, broncos too. The Ubolts are off of ther same rig, super hard, impossible to booger the threads.

A little bigger than I was thinking, but they are perfect. 37x13.5x15. I am going to mount them up on some bead locks I picked up, just need to weld them and mount them!:;

Looks like I am going to need to run a set of 30 spliners now that Im not spinnin 33s! The boggers are gonna look killer on the truck.:awesomework:

anyone have a spare 37 bogger?:corn:

Got the front wrapped up yesterday. Installed the front vented rotors, calipers, hubs, shockhoops, shocks, new spring pins, tightened it all up. Moved the brakeline tab down the frame rail a bit. I forgot the camera, so youl have to use your imagination!

Thanks for the kind words, guys.:cheer: Hopefully it will make its maiden run this sunday.

Not sure why but this build impresses me more than anything you have built to date. The fact that you kept it simple and cheap as always is pretty cool. :awesomework:

He got it all done last night and drove it home. Next are the dual case's.:redneck:
