Heres the questions...I am doing my hydro assist on my MJ and I am installing a Power steering cooler(tranny cooler) and I have a new radiator also with the ports that would normally be used for tranny fluid...Can I plumb the lower pressure hose from the box to cooler, than from the cooler to the top radiator fitting and then from the lower fitting back to the pump? Is that ok or is the power steering fluid corrosive more than ATF of any other problems? or will it cause the steering to become warmer than if I bypassed the radiator all together and went from the cooler straight to the pump? I just figure that its not being used and would act as a fluid resevoir allowing more fluid to the system thus keeping the whole thing cooler?

One more question....can I use a 99 power steering pump from an XJ on my 89 4.0?they look similar...is there anything Im missing?

The cooler(s) should be plumbed on the return side of the system-not the PSI side....I know it doesn't pertain to your ?, but just thought Id let ya know....:awesomework:

just keep turning it.
sometimes they take a LONG time to bleed.
especially when ur starting with a dry system.

let it sit for awhile(10 min), so the air bubbles can all float to the top, then try again.

thats been the precedure for about 24 hours now...haha...from what I hear they can take awhile...i'll keep working it.

You got to get the air out of the ram first. Makr sure that the hoses are going straight up out of the ram, Other wise it will trap air

i finally got it...99percent anyways...everytime I start it I get a few bubbles...magine they will work themselves out the rest of the way.
