toy hydro ram mount

'90 runner sas. histeer, 3.0
put the 2wd pan on already but want some pics of ram mounting locations.
my ram should be here today and i guess there is some problems with clearence with the 3.0 motors.
im running the rancho 44044 springs with one leaf removed if that helps

Took this it koh..Take a real close look at everything going on here..full tube chassis with a toy body on it. Granted its a fab'd housing w/d44? knuckles but you get the idea

when i mounted my hydro assist ram on the top of my toy housing on my 85 pu, it would bash into my oil pan at full flex/stuff, when i remount mine i plan on mounting it to the front of the axle and then bending a hoop like the one in the picture above this to protect the ram

He had his pan custom dented to clear. This was the cleanest exectuion ive ever seen so i snapped a few..leaf springs sure do make it hard to do..

i am sure that his motor is somehow lifted up higher than say one in the stock location, i would hope so anyway, if you are going to go through all the trouble to make a tube chassis and keep it leaf sprung.

not only did my pan dent but my transfer tube was dented aswell,

nto sure if you recall the night Joe, but it was two summers ago, i was in my truggy, following you can't remember who was riding with you but MM was riding with me and we had just entered a trail off of the puddle road that starts in a couple campsites then follows closely to the mountin, turns into a quad trail and pops out almost to may creek, anyways as a result of the bashed pan and transfer tube i broke a rocker on the number one cyle luckly i was able to limp back to camp

Im running a 350 and all pro springs, I used to have mine mounted like trail gears directions and did not like it. things bound up and hit and I also dented the oil pan twice. So now I have this mount and it works a lot better, I also moved my motor back a ways so that helps to, anyways heres a pic of my mount. Kinda like the first one above

, but like everyone else said why the spacers under your springs.. kinda defeats the purpose of bein low to some extent...

one spacer moves the axel foward 3/4" (moves pin hole) the other was a shim to get rid of death wobble wich is now coming out.
