TH350 behind a 22RE

Can anyone say for sure if there is enough room for the TH350 to fit between the Toyota frame rails?

I know a t-400 and a C6 fit just fine so I'm sure you will have no problem with it Money!!!

I just shoehorned my V8 and auto into my yota last night:awesomework:

How many adapters will this drivetrain use? 3?

Yes. Adapter from the 22RE, adapter to the t-case......and the existing case-to-case adapter.

And you're right Buck (in your PM) the adapter from the 350 to t-case is big.......I'd have a looooong drivetrain if I kept the duals.

After I buy the 350 and I wheel the rig for awhile, I'll decide how to pursue this modification.

:hi:Don't do it

I'm just buying parts.......the build has not changed form.

heres alittle pick for ya money. . . turbo 350 to dual yota cases seems pretty long. . .

Ya.....:eeek:

The point of having duals in a Yota is the weak 22RE, but also the manual tranny aspect. If my rig had an auto I'd only need the rear 4.7 case. I'd be driving a gutless pig in high range.......but what's the difference, really.

so true. . . I think the aluminum 454 in my garage is calling your name:;

Cant wait 2 see it built man!!!

dumb. It will be extra gutless.

Why not just use one of the newer toy transmissions. Take what the ftoy guys learned and make it happen...

Or a jeep transmission, toy auto's and some jeep autos are family and like to mix and match.

That's what I was trying to get across.... I have both an AW4 and a A340 sitting on the table in the shop right now. The cases are from the same casting. There are a couple screw holes tapped in the AW4 that aren't tapped in the A340 but other than that even the part numbers cast into them are the same. :;
