1973 F-350 Ranger XLT Super Camper special. :011:

















The super camper special has a longer wheel base than the regular long bed. The spare tire is behind that panel in the side of the box.

Rebuilt 390 with an Edelbrock Streetmaster intake and carb, hooker headers, and dual exhaust with flowmasters. Rebuilt C6. Dana 70 rear with what feels like 4.11 gears. Haven't crawled under and looked for a tag yet.

All for the bargain price of $950. It only needs a few small things, mainly header gaskets. It had a vacuum leak and was running bad when I bought it. I replaced some vacuum caps and it purs now...

I have a major HARDON for the 73-79 Fords. I was specifically looking for a 77-79 F250 Xtra or Crew Cab before I bought my 91 Chevy, but most of them that are for sale that are in decent shape were out of my $$$ range, so I sacrificed.


Good work on the F350!!!! Bad ass truck, and if I could have had a 2wd, I would have bought something similiar in an extracab!

Yeah, it has an owie on the driver's side of the box, but it's not to bad. It's pretty close to John Deere green. My bud wants me to paint the wheels yellow. :redneck:

That is a steal for an old super sweet F350. Please keep it as nice as it is now. Looks like a 10 year old truck in the pics, I like the color, it doesn't look like all the other old ford trucks out there.:awesomework:

Update. They flowmasters are annoying as ****, and I'm swapping them for raptor turbos.

Scored a tailgate for it from pick a part for $35. I'll paint it green in the spring.

I got the missing trim pieces, and the correct factory mirrors for it. :cheer:

Sweet old rig. I think it has a 140" wheelbase. Regular 8' bed would be 133" wheelbase.

Yes, 140" WB. I swapped the edelbrock 750 for a summit racing 600. It liked it.

Yep. Currently on the hunt for a set of ford 8 lug 16" wheels so I can get new tires for it and keep the hub caps. :bigsmile:
