i really liked them:awesomework: really quite and road friendly, susprisingly sof, great all around radial tire. never had them in any deep snow tho:booo:

im just curious, but what kinda shackle setup is that on top of the frame rail on the yotah with teh tube on it? from the angle of staring at the ass, it looks like its just resting on top of the framerail lol

first of all i did the work my self:awesomework: and naw it's not hitting the frame rail, if you look closely there is a good 3/8th gap between the spring and the bottom of the frame rais that pic was old shorly after i bobbed 16in out of the front of the bed. moving the wheel base from 128ish to 112ish chopped of the frame rails behind the shackle and cut the bottom of the frame on an angle so it would not come in contact with the spring

finally have shocks:redneck: 12in travel 5125 billsteins in the front
procomps in the rear for the moment
finishing up my rear bumper tomorrow after work
should have the rear end welded up saturday:redneck:
front bumper is pretty much done need to bend a couple more peices
build bump stops cut my spring pads off to correct my shitty pinion angle and if time allows finish wiring up my rock lights and mounting my track bar:beer:

Wasnt tryin to step on your toes or anything, if i came across negative. Just never seen like a frame rail flip kinda setup. More curious of how it performs really and what ya made ya think of it. Thanks

the reason i did this was to lower the truck, i had 5in springs in the rear and 3's in the front i frenched the front rear spring hanger into the frame and put the shackle on top of the frame it dropped the truck a good three inch's i hate yotas that are lifted to the sky, and it's deff shitty when your wheelin with such a tall rig, tuckin 37's makes a rig look good i will try and find a pic of when i first built the rig to compare heights

ya it was alot of fun, now it just sits on the ground under a tarp:booo:

went on a quest for snow last weekend off of highway two/beckler river and found a few inches but not much

also got a new blingin grill almost finished my rear bumper

walker valley on sunday:cheer:

before i can go i need to finish up a couple things
weld on my new sliders
finish my tire carrier/rear bumper
weld my rear diff
rotate my housing and mount my trac bar
weld on my bump stops
and if i have enough time and it's not raining i can finish off my tube front bumper:stirpot:

note the rear bumper is not done, i have to add one more tube on the drivers side, and i also made a mount that goes from inside of back of the frame and captures 3/4 the way around the bumper on both sides

well i ended up having to help my friend and mom move out of their house today so i didnt get to work on my truck till after seven, stopped working at midnight and am really not ready to go wheeling, i need to finish some misc things like

bumpstops
rear shocks
weld my diff
mount my fairlead

i did get my frame fishplated and sliders mounted up tho

i will post pics tomorrow:beer:
