Reiter, Before, During & After 4/18/10 Work Party

Here are some of the photos I took. Binder & I went through before the start of the work party to get some before Restoration Work Photos. They are all looking down the Sac Up Trail, but the During and After Photos mostly taken looking up the Trail and it is hard (at least for me) to match them up.

Photos will start in 2nd post so they don't carry over to any new pages from this first post in the thread.

If anyone else has photos from the work party, please post them up here for everyone to see.

Also please note that some of these areas did not get worked on YET, as even with the great crew we had out there, there was just too much to complete in one day. Upper end and lower end still have Restoration to be accomplished. :awesomework:

Ok, I think you all getthe idea of what Sac Up looked like Pre Work Party, but I do have about 50 more photos that maybe I will post to Photo Bucket later on.

Keep in mind that the Restoration stated at the middle of the tral with Volunteer Crews work both up and down from there.

These photos are of the Restoration in progress. The Volunteers were installing water bars, planting Seedlings (provided by DNR) and transplanting Ferns and other types of plants taken from back off the trail areas.

Well that should give you an idea of the Restoration Work being accomplished out at Reiter Foothills for DNR.

Nice pics Ted.:awesomework: I have to admit that for a large group of volunteers everyone I saw seemed to be hard at work.....
As for the trail itself it made me sad to see the trail before. Not because we were loosing it so much but because I remember what a trail it used to be and to see the pile of **** that it turned into.:booo:
