I was reading around on pirate a little getting ideas for my next project for the buggy that will take place after I finish building my new shop. I found this and have seen it before but I wanted to get you alls take on this.

Lower mounts are rubber/poly and the head mounts are solid. What is the point of the head mounts? And why are they solid, could this cause cracking issues?

I didnt think it was that confusing. I did a little paint edit for you. On the back of the heads there are plates welded to tube that runs up to a dash tube of some kind, no ruber or poly on this mount. But on the lower block mount there are poly bushings. :eeek:

Isn't you chassis an S&N? Jason HIGHLY recommends not using solid motor mounts. Given that mine are solid and work just fine.
