Got some '97 Ford wheels and some 245/75/16 Yokohama geolander AT-S tires.

Sweet rig, I just got this '70 250 today. Already scheming on the 4x4 thing, apparently my buddy's sister has a rolling 4x4 chassis she's trying to sell too, same year and everything. Mine's not quite as clean (Cab has a lot of sloppy filler on the roof, kinda scared to strip it off and see what I really have). 360/C6 and a 60 rear, haven't checked what gears yet.

Replaced all the hardware for the factory camper special mirrors and got them on today... holy **** stainless steel hardware is expensive! :wowwow:

What kind of gas milage do you get towing? I get ~7mpg with the buggy on the back.....I only use the primaries and "light foot" it from stops. What speed/RPM do you cruise at? I cruise @ 62 to keep the 460 from being piss rapped and I guess the rpms to be @ about 2800 or 2900

I haven't calculated the milage yet. It has 4.10s, so it sounds like 3,000 or so at 60. I should put a tach in it. It uses a quarter tank to haul that from tumwater to the track in Rochester and back at 50 mph,

Going by google maps milage was about 7.25.

My step dad has been DDing this while his ranger is Broke. He's averaging 6mpg... :haha:

I yarded the F427 Dual plane intake off of my F-100 and will be swapping it for the single plane streetmaster that this came with. Hope to gain some mileage and low end torque.

I've been DD my truck for the last two weeks.....my 40mpg festy wont pass emissions(at idle,by the tiniest amount) So to stay legal,I've been driving my 7mpg,oil burning,straight pipe,panty dropper truck :011::redneck:
