i GOT THIS GIVEN TO ME SUPPOSIVELY THE CHIP GOT ERASED WHAT THE GUY SAID I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS JEWL LET ME KNOW WHAT I NEED ,I HAVE THE PLUG FOR THE TOP /NO PROGRAM AND WANT TO KNOW WHATS IT WORTH ETC, ANY THING INFO WOULD HELP SUMONE WITH EXP/PROGRAMS ETC NEEDED WITH THIS COMPONET WILL BE REIMBURSED WITH SUM GOOD INFO NO PROBLEMO.

Looks like an OTC or Genesis. Kinda looks like a Harbor freight scanner though.

Does it turn on??

The only way to know whether it's worth anything would be to call OTC directly, and see if the one you have is upgradeable to OBDII specs (you'll need the serial #)---but the motherboard in it isn't really suitable (too slow) to run all the latest gadgets and widgets the newer cars have today even if you could upgrade the software and get it working...
Does it have a serial number on the back or somewhere???? This could tell you at least it's approx age by doing some research...
