• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

This Saturday or Sunday?

I think there's a group going Friday night... Check the other threads... Could still be there for Saturday morning? Not really my neck of the woods, so I don't know too many details... If I head down there Friday I may have to add better lighting to my rig... Still on the fence myself...

I was wondering if anyone else wanted to go in halves or thirds on another set... Or if you'd wanna sell me any of your 'spares'... Seems like a pretty good deal any way you look at it...

Not giving up my spares. Switched to these LED's cause I burned through all my spares of my old halogens.

You up there yesterday? Didn't see you.

Got there a little after 9 and ran all the trails. Let my passenger drive the last trail and he rolled on the first corner. :haha: trashed the soft top, windshield & frame, driver mirror, roof, both sides of the tub are smashed in, driver door, fender and hood.

Me too. All I did was bend two rock rings and scrape the corner of my top. We need pics, and also location. There's only a couple of spots at Evans the you could roll if you were trying.

I was there about that exact time also. Was a crapload of rigs in the lot, so we ran
Today 8 of us met up and embarked on our first Evans trip of the season. We started out on 102 because there were eleventy billion people headed up the 311. 102 was fun. From there we headed up the 196 to 197 and up to 520. On 197 a couple of us has a tuff time getting around a tree and we slammed into it but not too much damage. We started hitting snow at the bottom of 196. Just a trace. By the time we got to the rock field on 520, we were in about 4 inches of semi-fresh snow. We carried on to the top of 520 and decided to head up further on 519. That's where things got a little puckeriffic. There is that step-down rock that isn't usually too terrible but add snow to it and it adds to the fun. It put me in a precarious spot that had my heart beating out of my chest. I felt like I was gonna go over but somehow didn't. I made it thru and Nichol was after me. I think I heard a squeal out of her when she descended from the rock and slid into the other rock. I'm sure she felt the same puckerness that I felt earlier. We then took the road down to 311 and ran that to the first lookout. Branden noticed a bolt sticking out on Nichols steering box and it was determined that her day was over. We all had had enough for the day so we took the road all the way back down. It was a beautiful day and re didn't really run into anyone up there surprisingly. Always a good group of people to run with. Pictures to follow soon. They are downloading into photobucket as I type.
above text was stolen from another thread, by one of our group, because I'm to lazy to type the exact same thing

The guy is a trucker but never driven on trails. We were on the 102 switch back trail headed to the parking lot. On the first corner he swung wide like he was towing a trailer and drove up the bank. I can text a picture if someone wants to post it for me.

Thanks Tony. Worked on it all day today banging out dents and replacing parts. The factory rollbar was bent and the winch cable got smashed too. Good day besides that. A toyota rolled up by the log pile but he did it for a photo op.

We did the step down on 519 Friday night. It was pucker-riffic in the dark with snow.

Sucks your rig got thrashed.
