samurai project in the near future

my son in law ran accross this today and i had him scarf it up, so here we go again
another project, plans are 22r on propane, 5 speed with 4.70 gears in case.
toyota front and rear with 4:88's, 4 link in the rear, air shocks, 38 tsl's,
high steer with full hydro steering.

That's a sweet lookin chassis to start with! Can't wait to see what y'all come up with! I'm jealous of all yalls Toyota stuff :****:

I don't think it is. That one had a big radius bend in the cage. This one dosent.
 
i dont know who had this, ricky got it from jeremy a friend of his
it may be jeremy pain in new market area, he removed all the sami
running gear and is going to build a light weight 1 seater. i will see if
i can find out who did all the work

Y'all need some FJ80 axles for that! (and a motor/trans/tcases/etc)

I can make you a package deal on a drivetrain if you don't already have one.
 
I had (have technically, although just a chassis now) the nissan axle one.

I had a very similar setup to what you described. If I did it again, I'd use a 4.3 and th350 to a stock geared toy case.

I felt like 4.7 alone was too low and high range wouldn't pull.

By the way (shameless plug coming) I still have the chassis and need to get rid of it :fish:

What's your wheel base gonna be? What size tires? Ive been thinking of building a small single seater.
