I know some of you either had or have them. Let's see some pics! :dblthumb:

Mine was an 82 Cherokee Laredo, 360, 727, 208, widetrack 44 and 20. Had 32 x 10.50 SXs on it when I sold it. my Dad bought it used in 83 for $8500 and then bought an 85 Grand waggy new, my granddad drove it and I "inherited" it at 15 and kept it 10 years. Had some fun in that old truck and would love to have another one day.

Re: Re: The Fullsize Jeep thread

Ive always wanted one. Saw one at a junkyard a while back. I drooled over it for a while trying to figure out how I get it out of there.

That's what started this filthy habit for me. 1987 model i think. 360-TF727 and D44s on 35" tires with a spring-over. Gave $600 for it. Drove the **** out of this, then parted it out and scrapped the body and got all the money back.

Ahh Tremors, that one takes me back...

I've got a 79 waggy that has been in the family for years, when I got into all this we thought itd be cool to revive her. It had been sitting for 7-8 years untouched, I spend 10x the hours trying to get it running/keep it running than I actually got to drive it.
Me and dad got it running/driving (enough to take it to the mountain and beat on it anyways) lol
Anyways, I hacked the heck outta the fenders and threw some old dry rotted 35in bfgs on it, then a 3in rough country, a rattle can paint job and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world... Havent drove it since the easter ride 3 years ago. Id love to bring it back to life again one day, just need a shop and time....

1979 Jeep Wagoneer
AMCrap 360 boat anchor, th400 (or whatever pos auto is in it) and good ole quadrajunk case
44s front and rear I believe

One more, I actually have this framed and hanging in the house :****: This is in the creek at Chewalaca (or how ever the hell it's spelled) in Auburn in about 97 or 98. :woot: Note the thornbirds and big ass whip antenna. ;D

I'm the current owner of the OP's jeep. These are from a trip out to Colorado a couple of years ago.

I had one until I traded it off this year:

Had a little steering issue. Not many trail shots when it was complete:

Thanks for posting those Kyle. I'm glad you still have it. Jake sent me pics and maybe some video of when you took it out there. Lemme know if you ever decide to sell it or wanna trade for a toyota. :dblthumb:

It is nearby we stayed in Silverton, but my heavy pig stayed off of Black Bear Pass. I had no interest in that many switchbacks in a fullsize vehicle.
