Christmas Parades, I lov'em... Anyone else been in one this year?!

Got to help @GRCthird and his business GGG this morning in the Argo Christmas parade. It was a blast. I ain't got kids but I love this stuff... kids walking up during the line-up mumbling "I wanna ride in that one..." And folks pointing in the parade, and us juss throwing handfuls of candy.... A 5 gallon bucket FULL of candy.... gone!

That's a city ordinance, not a state law. I've been to parades in GA and they have thrown candy.

We use to be able to, but the past couple years the city wouldn't allow it.

Went to one last Friday. Didn't get a picture but one of the best was a septic cleaning business had a pumper truck in it all lit up. He was pulling a trailer with a sign that said "On the weekends we haul milk"

I had a blast yesterday, aparently there were 3 other parades in the area, maybe next year we make a day out of it. It wasn't a big parade by any means but it was fun, hanging on to frosty for the ride back was a hoot Side note, on our way back, we had to take it in the ditch to get out of the way of an ambulance!

Me and some of the coworkers were in the Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas parade last weekend.



I wanted the Grinch but we went in front of Garfield

I do one or two parades per year. In the past I've used my buggy but since I don't have one now I just used the trailer. They are a blast either way. Honestly its probably the most fun I have all year. Nothing like making 10,000 kids super happy in about an hour!

Due to work, I missed out this year. I usually try to be in several each year. It's a blast to see the looks on all of the kids faces.

we didn't ride in our parade this year cause we went ridn that day but few of us did last year. goin to again next year tho but kids and adults like it!
I had the ole Sami settn on high shine that night !!
