So, seeing the Lincoln movie and reading that book, where does the movie stand?

I don't think I ever ended up seeing that movie that I can remember. I'd guess that it leaves a lot out, like all the people who lived in the north that didn't agree with him that he put in prison, or the congressman from Ohio he had deported for speaking against him in public. People think Obama is bad, from what I've gathered in this book he just following in Lincoln's footsteps and one day historians will make him sound like a hero too.

Obawma gots them armed security guards. I'm sure there's been an attempt or two that got prevented in the early stages by modern security.

You know, they say you don't know where you are going until you know where you've been (regarding history) And that history repeats itself. This is so true. Most people today don't think past the last news blurb they read online. Everyone has an opinion and often a biased spin is put in place, but I at least want the facts presented to clearly assess and make my own conclusion. I grew up in IL, and Lincoln is revered as a deity, I think it would be interesting to read that book. There is always more to the story....

Ok could be complete malarkey but I remember hearing that Oscuma wouldn't visit Texas because we had a known resident that could shoot over 1k yards. Mr. Kyle specifically. Surely that wasn't true. Then he came to visit after that dude was down

There are a lot of people that can shoot over 1k yards accurately....all over this country.

Edit: It is tough to do on the first shot though.

Got my vote in against the FSA today.....if Trump doesn't carry Florida it won't be for my vote!

I am far from a Democrat, but it amazes me to hear some of the dumbass **** that comes out of Trump's mouth. At this point, I'm just about as terrified of him as I am Hillary or Bernie. All 3 of em are worthless!

I don't disagree at all...but I just can't vote for another "career politician"....plus the FSA (free **** army) hates him...so that's a plus for me.

Was gonna put this in the meme thread but it seemed to fit better here...
