I'm a libertarian that's been voting AGAINST what I don't want in the last few elections. I'm tired of that ****.
Bet you sleep a lot better at night because of it too don't ya? I know I do, a couple hundred years ago we would've been the guys saying "**** the King!" While everyone else told us just to be quiet and it wasn't that bad.

+1!!!

Re:

Fiscally conservative, socially tolerant

Aka common sense

Maybe one day we'll have the chance to elect such individuals to lead our country.

It's not looking good.

I mean ****! Is it really hard for people to grasp the concept of not being the world police in perpetual war, not taxing the hell out of anyone that earns, and not squandering the taxes collected on overreaching bureaucracy and aid for other countries.

I wonder if there is a chance that Trump could win the majority of the primaries but be denied the party nomination?

Sure can.
Then he will run independent and split the conservative vote. This is exactly what the "libs" want to happen...but the "libs" and "conservatives" are two arms attached to same body, so the establishment elite political class will be "publicly outraged" but patting backs and high fiving behind closed doors.
It's a farce and a game. The sheeple sold out this country to an elitist ruling class many years ago. Most are just too comfortable and blind to see it.

Woodrow Wilson sold the country out in 1913 with the creation of the Federal Reserve and Income Tax. Without either one we wouldn't be able to fund our empire building across the world or our socialistic domestic policies.

IMO it started further back than that with Lincoln and consolidation of federal power...but that's not in the history books...

Funny you mention that, currently reading a book on that very subject.

Re:

It's a good one. Really goes to show how much the government changes how history is taught to their advantage. I had a couple college history classes and was lucky enough to have professors tell us to forget all the bullshit we learned from kindergarten through high school and that they were gonna tell us what really happened. I think that's a big reason that led me to question things and become a Libretarian.

Re:

The more I learn about Trump and the more he talks I think we should change the name of this thread to Trump for Dictator? Or maybe Trump for Supreme Leader?

I'm down with a 10% tax rate, but I'm not sure it would pass. Plus, I just flat out don't trust him.
Hell if a federal government can't be operated on 10% of the earnings of every working citizen, then the gov is too damn big.

It can, but the other 25% goes to the ones who don't work...

I still stand by my statement. Even the socialist support programs that we've all come to "know and love" should be able to be funded by 10% of the working people's earnings.
