What year is this thing? The only time I have hot wired ASD relays is with certain PCM part numbers. Don't hate the previous guy yet. He may have saved you headache and money

Replace the entire harness and fox all grounds right meow.

2005 and it was grounded, not hot wired. I am not bashing the old owner at all. He wasn't doing the work. I checked the main ground on the engine block and removed the ground jumper and now it starts as it should in park or neutral only.

It also will leave limp mode when you turn it off. Still only get 1 shift out of it, but I can actually get it in first now.

Update time:

Turns out that the PCM issues were a bad ground. Fixed that and still got limp mode on trans. Decided to investigate.

Evidently a midget stripper had been living inside my transmission and she liked to take long hot baths and let the tub overflow.

Water and stripper glitter everywhere. Time for a new trans.

Looks more like stripper glitter from your male on male one night stands. Told you to quit that ****!
