Booty Fab

I've got a few of my own to toss out there. The only other one I found was booty fab that actually works by Angry Fab.

Pictures to follow :****: :flipoff1:

Pictures are all off the Hop along Sami....first is mine. No cleaning of the parts, outside, slightly chilly. Second I cannot claim, but booty nonetheless. Third is Mo helping me ride the rest of the weekend and in no way a reflection of any paid or unpaid work he would ever put out. He actually was a little scared getting into the Sami to ride over to the welder.

Re:

I was not scared! I was more concerned about it fully breaking on the ride to the welder.
It held up great ;)

I once put a block of wood between my "improved" factory jeep cage and the body.
I'll see if I can find pics

Hmmm might be a fun challenge build the biggest booty fab looking POS with everything actually strong and safe..m

LOL

Kel, are you positive any of that work was done by George @ AngryFab? He usually would only do something like that if someone specifically asked for a ni**errigged repair for free :****:

So Kel in the pic of the double tube frame. Is that capped bars or is that some smaller tube slid into bigger tube cause that's all we had lying around. There's just so much booty in the pic I can't figure it out?

He's talking about my old rear axle, George posted some pictures of it. Someone had welded factory caliper brackets on and had made a pinion guard. I don't have it anymore or I'd post pictures of it. It actually didn't look that bad.

Might as well post a pic of my jeep because it's nothing but booty fab. My welds look like dirt dobbers nest but them bitches hold, most of the time anyway.

This image encompasses a lot of booty fab.

Door holder closed bungee

Mongo44's runner in the background with an old in-cab cage welded in backwards over the rear

custom painted Char-broil on the SS Haint, mounted in PVC pipe.

Re:

Yep. George only contributed a welded up third to the Sami....probably the nicest thing on it besides the Red Labels at the time. It was a ladder bar of sorts....I am sure there were some plumbing parts involved, maybe some type of rust/cement holding it together, all encased with Krylon to make it hold.

This thread will be good for the laughs it will bring, but please do not introduce fabricators names(unless it is a piece of your own artwork)or businesses into your posting as this is not a bashing thread. thumb.gif

Carry on........... :rolf:

I posted these pics in the rig transformation thread but they are perfect for this one too.

I am not responsible for this booty fab but it was already bootied before I purchased it. The grill was a steel walkboard with headlight buckets welded in. The fenders were 1" square tubing. It was hideous but ran great and it was CHEAP.

I definatly have some booty fab in my history or Redneck ingenuity whatever you want to call it but one that I am proud of is fixing a flexplate that was stripped out and we were wanting to ride the rest of the day so took a welder ran a bead over the stripped teeth and then an angle grinder to recut the teeth back in it and it actually worked not to mention it only took 20 min to do so I was pretty happy about booty fix
