Most frustrating trail / obstacle

The second picture is the ledge/rock after boat ramp that leads up the trail to the top of the hill.

Some of us have never made it that far :rolf:

I have heard there are some killer rattle snakes up there at that rock though :****:

Shoot. At 2 am with no one around, ain't nothing but a little winch action to get up it!

I've tried several times. Full throttle assaults from 50' back and crawling it. My concrete like tsls ain't got nothing for slick rock. I'll try to go faster next time.

The pictures are from Dec 2016. Two or three more pictures could have gotten the entire line bottom to top, but when I took the pictures I wasn't really trying to get the whole thing. The last picture is from the very top, not sure if that is even considered part of the trail. We came in from the top and walked down to where the pictures were taken. Guessed I missed a little bit, but I suppose my thought process was making sure I wasn't going to bust my noggin walking back up. :dunno: Here is a clip I found to clear up any remaining confusion.

I am guessing you tried to run over one and got high centered on your lil rascal scooter??

:flipoff1:

That's right, trying to following your trail of crackers you were dropping behind you. :flipoff1:

That Rascal XLT on Thornbirds has boost control as well and climbs like spider monkey.

JohnG taught me how to crawl Boatramp. I beat on that hill for several minutes until he showed me how to hold the brakes hard, give it some gas and control wheel speed with the brake pedal. 4600# rockwell rig crawled it like nothing. I've used that technique other places and blow minds.

John's greatest virtue was patience. DROVE ME CRAZY, but it worked. He drove up the middle of Rev Limiter and STOPPED halfway up while I was smoking a brand new set of Tizzles off, and told me to stop and crawl it. SHEEESH................. Miss my sensei.

Re:

Jason Vanover is like that.....he'd prolly classify me as a terrible student.

I'm no banzai but I generally have a logical approach to most things. I'm usually a try it 3 times smart....3 times "hope it goes". Then I give up and winch/go around.

He knows his stuff....can't deny that.

He's a pretty fart smeller, and one of the best drivers I know. Now that that's out of the way, is he paying you or holding you at gun point? Almost sounds like you have a crush on him.... :wtflol: :gay: :stir: :stir:

You can say whatever you want on here as long as you put the lil guy stirring the pot after it right??
