Mine is broken and am wondering if it was a fluke?
Anyone else break one before?

PS This is NOT the "J" arm which tons of people broke before crossover/highsteer became common.

i don't think it's a real common break. where did it break at, the kingpin part or the main part of the arm?

The crack also extends across the front of the two studs as welll as most of the way across the bottom.

Looks like mine before Bobby and I pulled it off, ground out the cracks, welded, and gusseted the problem areas, before I went to the hammers and moab this year! I'll see how long it holds up.
42's tend to be hard on parts over the years, Odie.

You forgot the heavy foot Odie!!!!

You mean that big tires, a v-8, a heavy foot, and a heavy rig wear things out? :flipoff:

Those arms are made for a rig 1000lbs lighter, with half the horsepower, and ~half the tire size that they are dealing with right now. I guess you could say they are being taxed to their limits.:booo:
