Sweet ride, Love the winch bumper/mount setup! You'll love those bobby longs,I Ran 39.5 Iroks with no breakage. Don't forget to move back your steering stops, you get sharper turning with those!

Took the Toyota out to Evens and ran the 311 a couple times. It doesn't have a working charging system yet, so I didn'y stray to far from the truck. I also manned a post at the fun run that was going on Saturday. It ran fantastic. I was very impressed with what it would do. The second run up the 311 I tried every hard obstical that the trail had and the toy made childs play out of them. Sorry I don't have any action shots, but I was just having to much fun to stop the rig and get pics.

not sure if you NEED a one wire, i think i might have one out in the garage, i could go scrounge around, you could have it for a few bucks. if i indeed have it i could get it tested when i go pick up some parts this week :D

found the alternator, its in really good condition, and it tested excellently at shmucks, so it will work. now the bad news, its a 1970 caddy alternator, and its actually a 2 wire alternator, and not a one wire. tell me if it will work, ok?

Well, my current attempt to do some more fixin went a couple steps the wrong way. :wtf: I was changing out the timing chain and cogs when the hole in the cam that holds the dowlle pin cracked. What a faulked up deal that was. My fault for rushing the fix. So now I get to pull the head and replace the HG since the head bolts needed to come out. The new cam is in place just waiting for a new HG. :corn:

Is there anything else I can screwfix up with this one day week long repair? :redneck:

10/12/06 updates

Well I got the Toy running again. It got a new cam, timing chain, and a one-wire alternator. The thing runs great :cheer: . Can't believe how quit it runs now. I also put in two new seat covers. Here is a couple pics. Couldn't get any pics of the one-wire. Covered up by the power steering.
