I have an axle that looks like a Yota rear, Has Yota looking Drums Yota 3rd. I am wondering what axle it is because it has an 11 spline pinion shaft. If it is Yota what year is it, and out of what Truck?

Rear end started going nuts this past week so I dropped the driveline and drove it home. Opened it up this morning. The pinion is tore to **** in the middle of the teeth, broken teeth all the way round in the center. What would cause that so it don't happen again. 8.8 with ARB and Yukon...
