Man would of sold you a Traxxas Stampede VXL which has a brushless motor. Comes with battery, charger, truck. All ready to go.

Should explain what VXL is, its a Brushless motor and Brushless ESC. Kind of the new technology on the block. Really damn fast. Just not what I really wanted in a hobby!

Yeah I have a little knowledge with rc's. I built a crawler from a tlt. I have heard of brushless and heard they are GOOD. Problem is I want to buy an old one and build on it.

Where located at? So its gas, I would prefer electric because I get annoyed when someone is near me some where with a gas, makes to damn much noise.

I was just at the rc shop in Covington, and they had one in there. It not being 4wd sucks but you can put an axle that is 4wd up there. I hear they are the next craze in the rock crawling deal. Its an optional turn key rc if you dont want to build one.

Yeah you are on the verge of long arm land now. If you go any higher in the future you are going to have to get the long arm kit seperate. If you got the money do it right. RE has a good long arm kit. Its going to be personal preference. You can see on here already that someone hates this...

Yeah that is very true....... but if he is going 6.5" up then he should ask like he is doing. Its just advice ya know. I asked the same thing when I first got my jeep and I did alot of research. Unfortunetly I can not afford the set up I want right now:D
