    Toyota side mirrors??

This may not be the right spot for this thread cause it is a somewhat "wanted" post but anyway, I am looking and looking for a pair of either good old factory Toyota side mirrors or a new repop set. The style that is the bigger bolts to the door in two places. I can't seem to find any. This is...

    Camper ?

Hey Mike, I don't get on here much anymore but I am thinking about selling my 2001 Lance 8.6 lite. It's got all the stuff you want and it's in nice shape. Plus I can show you what I know about it. It does need a few small things to be perfect but that could help you out on the price. The wife...

    2010 Cummins 6.7L

How many miles? Is it deleted? If it's not deleted I would assume he would want to have that done asap. Fuel economy sucked on those in stock form and after 5-6 years of driving I'm sure it's good and plugged up. Once deleted and tuned he will need a clutch. If non of these things are done...

    22re temp issue

I dont know, I think the temp issue was just a fart. I think its fine, but it does seem to run colder than I think is normal but I dont know. Its got a fresh OEM Tstat when I did the motor swap. TPS is bad so I am replacing that tomorrow. This will probably cure some other funky running issues...

    22re temp issue

The truck never runs hot at all... it runs COLD... really cold. But when I open the heater valve to allow water to run into the heater core (heating the cab) the temp gauge moves up to a nice (operationg) temp spot on the gauge. The gauge probe is in the stock spot on this '93 22re.

    22re temp issue

I got this 22re in my 81 pickup and I have been finding little issues lately that are odd to me. I am almost sure the TPS is bad cause it has trouble idling when warm, stumbles and dies. Runs better with it unplugged. Ever since I installed it, It never really warmed up all the way. I installed...

    Looking for a new trailer

I got a new Eagle 10k 18' tilt deck that I had for about 1 year. Paint chipped right off going down the road, never had light issues but I bet I would have. I had to drill drain holes in the square tube that housed the tail lights cause they filled up with water. Cheap cheap. I have an 2003...

    Hunting season

3 cow tags in my family party... I personally got ****. Ill be headed to east Montana again at the end of Nov. for deer. I have been skunked more times then I would like to admit in that 342 unit. I gave up on that one years ago. The running joke in the family is the guy with the cow tag never...

    Injectors/cummins

Is your truck a 6 speed or auto Mike? If it is an auto I assume its built already. Im not sure how much the HX(HY)35 will love the added fuel of the 75hp or 100hp sticks. I know lots of guys that run the 50hp sticks and make big power. You will get hot with that baby turbo no matter what you do...

    bending hard brake line?

I would spend the money on the best flaring tool you can and forget about the bender or buy the cheapest bender if you really want one. I use scrap tube or other round things to make a nice radius or just use your hands. The flare is way more important than the bend. If I did a lot of brake...

    Towing heavy?

Ok maybe your right, its the 3.55 not 3.44... couldnt remember, but I know its not 3.73 cause they only have those in the DRW with the manual. To get 4.10 or 4.44 with a manual you gotta jump in to a 4500 or 5500.

    Towing heavy?

I only have 11000 miles on the truck but with 3.44 ring and pinion and lets say close to 18k lbs of trailer behind me, getting going from a dead stop was cooking the stock clutch. Stock clutch does shift smooth and all that but it is not rated to handle much more than the trucks weight or the...

    Towing heavy?

Truck hauled it fine, just kept it in 5th and stayed around 60mph. Having a CDL and not being stickered up with the DOT and weighing in at just over 26k GCVW I really didnt want to get pulled over. Ill need a clutch soon tho. Stock dual mass fly wheel and stock clutch is :rb:

    Towing heavy?

Anyone tow a gooseneck trailer in the 16k to 20k range with a 3500, 4500, 5500 class pickup? I got a buddy that has a near 15000lb toy hauler that he tried towing with his Ram 2500 and it about killed him. Just wondering if anyone has had interesting or not experiances towing in this weight...
