    Toe-in, Toe-out

Think of it like this, when you're in a toe-out situation, your tires are already starting to turn even when going straight " \ /" This can make it feel twitchy depending on the severity of the toe out. Road race cars Ive set up demand some toe out to help initiate turn in. For higher spped...

    My new tow rig...

Just a little food for thought to get your juices flowing. The 6.0 (LQ4) can easily be built to 450+ hp for 800$ or so. The GM LS series are like legos and your engine is 75% the same as a vette. Mill the stock heads (or switch to 5.3 243 heads), cam and a tune and 450hp is very easy to achieve...

    T-case question.

The crawl box is the first transfercase. When you double two t-cases, you split the front case in half. You only need the reduction part of the transfercase, not the chain and front output, etc. In order for a forward shift to work, you need a transmission to support the shift rails as the...

    T-case question.

The top shift has the shifter coming straight up from the t-case. The forward shift has the shift forks running forawrd in to the back of the transmission housing. The second 'case in a doubled setup should be a top shift, as well as the crawl box. I had an 84, it had a forward shift. But no...

Did they start grooming it yet? The ranger staion is closed and we're leaving tomorrow. Any other place youy can think of to ride quads in the snow on roads legally within an hour or so from Seattle? Brent

Anyone been up to FS 70 latley?

Like the title says, anyone been up there lately? My friend and I are thinking of running our quads up and over in the snow tomorrow, but if its gravel its illegal. How much snow is there and how low is it? Thanks Brent

I agree with skrause, Its always been my understanding you only need a forest pass to PARK at the trailhead. Only your tow rig needs the forest pass, thats why they hang on the rearview mirror. Not every mountain biker/motorcycle rider/quad rider has a forst pass taped to their helmet!:wtf: Brent

Does anyone know the back way in? AT the "Y" after the bridge stay left towards Ipsut Creek campground. Past the town of Hucklechuck there is a road to the right which takes you into the lower part of Evans creek. If the cops are at the main entrance, they'd never see you come in the park.

I don't think anyone is arguing about getting a ticket for driving up to the park, not on a trailer, with a clearly illegal rig. Thats your own fault IMO. The forest service road is a road and all laws apply just like it was I-5. The main problem I have is the fact once your inside the park your...

According to the map, anything up hill of the campground is "road to trails" program, which means anything is legal (quads, bikes, etc.). If you want to skip the entrance, there are two way sin that don't go through the "main entrance. First, the lower entrance where 120 breaks off, you could...

    Flat towing a '95 ZJ?

Jeep had two t-cases in the grand cherokee. One had the "Selec-trac" which has 4 settings (2hi,4-part time,4 full-time and neutral). This is a non-full time t-case and would allow you to run 2wd. The difference between full and part time is I believe part time would lock up the t-case and split...
