I ran a locrite in the front for many years andhad no problem running it on the road(only lock one hub on icye days or wit a locked rear you should have to engae four wheel that offen any ways IMO. I had no issue turning with the locrite. BUT EVERY ONE HAS THERE OWN REMARK ABOUT EVERYTHING:beer:

I would throw the loctite in the front and weld the rear! Your turning on the trail would be very hard with out upgrading to ram assit.

No, taco rears use a larger ring gear i believe an 8.4". Ratio depends on 2 or 4wheel drive 5spd or auto and 4cly or 6cly.

Count the number of teeth on the pinion and divide that by the number of teeth on the ring gear.

toyota 8" any way. What is the rear end out of? is it an 8" 4cyl or V6?
