    Ford Diesel (pre-powerstroke)

If he still has that manual crew cab I would pick that thing up. mine is a 91 with 350k aftermarket turbo kit with 35" tires and I pull my fullsize wheeler behind it. the only things I would change is the trans to a 5 speed cause it has eaten up 2 trannys at $3k a piece and I want to put the...

    what Gears?

IDK how i drive it like I stole it I get between 280 - 310 per tank (15 gal) if im just driving it on the road, all the roads out here are 50-60mph roads. Not stop & go city roads. but of course if I take it wheeling I might only average 1 gallon per mile depending on how slow and how stuck it is.:D

    what Gears?

Really. I dont drive down the freeway everyday cause the freeway moves to slow because apparently people like you think the speed limit is 45 :looser:

    what Gears?

Also I forgot to mention. Figure out what is in it now cause toys came with all types of different ratios stock. most likely it has the 4.10 but some had 4.38 and if its an auto trans some had 4.88 gears. I drive mine more on the highway than anything else. But I like the 4.88 better because it...

    what Gears?

If you are running more street than trails 4.88 would be the way to go as Pokey said you will actually be too low for highway speeds and rev 3k rpm at 60, Im running 4.88 with 39.5 tires and my speedometer is dead on at any speed. And yes nitro gears kick ass

If we had a local privet owned ORV park would you pay and use it

I looked into this a few years ago the price of insurance is what steered me away from it. But if you could get quite a bit of local support it could work. and yes if there was one around I would definately pay to get in as long as the facilities are better that the ones Gregoir is providing now...
